How do you play poker with 2 decks of cards?
Texas hold'em or 5-card-draw. Is it possible?

- just do magic
- as cartman would say seriously
- >Is it possible? I would assume so. The only change you'd have to make in the rules is how to deal with a five of a kind. The probabilities would also change around a bit, but overall I think it would still be a perfectly playable game.
- the same way you play with one deck,it would make for some interesting betting frenzies!2 people with literally the same hand betting against each other!sounds fun!
- You could play with 2 decks, but you would be changing the game. All the odds would be different with 2 decks vs one. Just imagine if there was 8 kings, 8 queens, 8 aces, etc......Would the best hand be 5 of a kind? 2 decks bring in hand possibilities that are not logical, and I'm sure would result in many split pots. Would a seven card straight beat anything? About the only games that work well with additional cards are Blackjack and UNO!!!!
- 2 decks can be used, but only 1 at a time. While you are dealing deck # 1 the player to the right of the dealer should be shuffling deck #2, making it ready for the next deal. That will speed-up the game a bit. Ive never heard of using a 104 card deck, that would really screw up the game.
- If you do that, then it is possible to have two players with the same identical hand at the same time. Why would you want to do that? .
- Why are you playing with 2 decks? If you have that many players then you need to have seperate tables. You can't play poker with 2 decks. Black Jack yes, poker no!
