Who knows how to play poker???!?!?!?
i need a easy and straight foward way to play poker. i dont have much patience for reading big long instructions. so is there someone who can explain an easy way to play poker. just for fun? i do know how to play cribbage if that helps.

- There's a card in the deck that has a list of what each hand is and what beats what. The easiest is 5 card stud. Everyone gets 5 cards, and you try to make the best hand with the cards you're dealt. 5 card draw is everyone gets 5 cards, and you pick the cards you want to keep and throw the rest away, getting more back so that you have 5 cards again. You must keep 2 cards at least, unless you have an ace and want to throw everything else away, and you can get 4 cards back.
- Essentially, everyone gets dealt a certain number of cards (usually 5 or 7) in a certain fashion (depends on the game style, usually hold 'em, draw, or stud). Also depending on the particular game, you may place a series of bets that your hand is better than anyone else's. That's the simplest explanation, but not the most complete. If you're that impatient to learn, I can't help you much more.
