What is more likely to happen?

any of James Blake, Andy Roddick, Amelie Mauresmo winning a slam this year or Doyle Brunson or Johnny Chan winning the World Series of Poker Main Event that ESPN shows (not sure of the title), or President Bush winning a Nobel prize? As much as I would like to see Mauresmo or Chan win and as absurd as it sounds, Bush has a better chance of winning a Nobel prize than the other scenarios. Lets see who wins the vote

Public Comments

  1. Doyle Brunson
  2. Bush winning a Nobel Prize in medicine. We all know he would never win a Peace Prize, and of course, that Blake, Roddick, or Mauresmo are not going to win this year.
  3. President Bush winning a Nobel Prize heahaheha
  4. All three of these events are relative long-shots to occur, but the most likely one is definitely Blake, Roddick or Mauresmo winning a Slam. Although they are both excellent players, the probability of Doyle Brunson or Johnny Chan cashing in the Main Event, let alone winning it is very slender indeed. The huge volumes of players in the Main Event these days make it very unlikely that any well known pro will win in a given year. As for the George Bush winning a Nobel Prize - I feel you are being sarcastic in asking it, so will not dignify it with a response. In summary, although neither Blake nor Roddick is at the very elite pinnacle of men's tennis, nor Mauresmo in the women's, it is considerably more likely than the other events you listed.
  5. I'll have to go with Bush lol
  6. haha Bush winning the Nobel Prize
  7. I think Andy Roddick winning a slam this year! President Bush could also be likely but Roddick has a better chance! Definitely him!!
  8. LOL. I'd rather see Brunson or Chan winning WSOP :)
  9. number 1
  10. Amelie Mauresmo has all the shot, if only she can put it all together for one tournament.
