Online Poker sites. What is Sit & Go?
How does Sit & Go different from the other card games?

- A sit & go tournament is a tournament with no set start time. The field of players is usually only one table, sometimes more. Sit & Go tourneys start when the table is filled with registrants/players. Payouts are usually top 3, or top 2 for six seat tournaments. You can actually play these tournaments in a casino, but they aren't quite as popular as ring games and scheduled tournaments. I like to play $11+1 turbo SnG's on Full Tilt. They usually take less than an hour, and the competition is decent. There are reviews and great bonus codes for online poker rooms at http://dagus-statistics.com/reviews.htm
- In a normal poker tournament there is a set start time. Players can register up until the specific start time, and then the game begins and no more players can sign up. A sit and go is a tournament with a specific number of players. It could be a single table of 9, or maybe 18, 27, 45, 90 or 180 players. The tournament has no specific start time. Players register to play and as soon as the predetermined number of players has signed up, the tournament begins. These sit and go tournaments have the advantage of knowing exactly how many people are going to play, and exactly what the tournament prizes are going to be before you even sign up.
