- The strategies for an 18 or 98 y.o. are the same. It is more important to play your hand than your position, don't gamble more than you are willing to lose, and don't go all-in on a low pair post-flop. There are many strategies to poker, the ones I suggest are: don't take bad poker habits learned on free tables to the cash tables, watch the other players, and don't confuse luck with skill.
