How to Play Poker Videos

Full Tilt Poker Question?

I want to be able to have a buddy and I play at the same table on the same network. I am currently unable to right now because the error message I get is that we're on the same IP. Is there a way around that? I have more than one computer on the network 4 total. When a friend comes over we would like to play on the same table on two separate computers on the same network. There is no purpose to cheat we would just like to play at the same table. I'm in the US therefore it is illegal to play for real money cheating would have no benefit with play money it's strictly for fun. Thanks all for answering the question and Tank....not everyone is out there to cheat so dont specualte.

  1. You will need different computers.
  2. No, from the same Router or IP is not possible. This is to prevent cheating
  3. No there is no way around, they do that to avoid cheating. I understand your frustration and I'm sure you only wants to play the game. But the sites had to many bad experience with cheaters.
  4. Poker sites disallow that, in an effort to prevent cheating. Specifically the kind of cheating you and your buddy want to engage in, playing the same table while you're together, able to see each other's hands. --------------------------------------------------------------- Perhaps I was too accusatory, but the only thing stopping you from cheating in the scenario you're asking about is your (and your friend's) basic human integrity. I think you'll find that poker sites don't put much stock in that, as a rule. On an unrelated note, my brother and I sometimes play together in the same office, but only by sharing the keyboard and playing one account. That won't help answer your question much. On a second unrelated note, you can play for real money in the US, several high-profile sites are still active for US players to deposit and withdraw from. It's not illegal. Off the top of my head, I know that Poker Stars, FullTilt and Absolute are still doing US business, past that I'm not sure who is. (I've heard complaints about the withdrawal process, especially on FT and Absolute, but the consensus on this site is that using ePassporte is an effective way to deposit and withdraw from most poker sites.)
