  1. Why? I just looked you up on OPR. You have played six cash tournaments this month. Your best result was winning $19 by placing 8/180 in a $4 tournament. In the other five games you never made the money. So why should anyone sponsor you? If you can't even beat the $1 games that you play. I suggest you stick to play money for a while, and save up your own money to play. Keep working on your game, and use your own money once you think you are good enough to beat the $1 games. When you can cash three times in a row, move up to the next stake up. Begging for people to give you money is a losing strategy. When your own money is on the line it does make a difference. But if you really don't want to play for your own money, even though that is really the only way to really learn to play, why not refer your friends to PokerStars. They will pay you a referral fee, you can gamble with that. UPDATE: Dude if you were as good and 'solid' as you claim you would not have to beg on here for people to 'stake' you a dollar. Good solid players already have a dollar. If you can't afford to buy in for $100, you should not be gambling period.
  2. If you need someone to give you under $5.00 to play poker it means you don't know how to play poker or you're 12 years old playing poker. If I was you, I would spend the little bit of an allowance you get to buy a book on how to play poker.
  3. "You need a small stake to built a solid bankroll"....You guys are killing me! I see that every single day online! there is always "Solicitation" and it's always for the minimum, $1, $5.....WHY?. What are you going to do with a buck? "Take a shot?" If you have no shame for asking, ask for a good amount of money at least.....I mean, you really can't deposit a minimum? Like ZCT said stick to play money and save money for your deposit so you're able to start with a "solid bankroll" You can always grind your way playing the freerolls. Be patient, it will be a good reward if you win some money yourself, don't need to thank anybody for it, and it's always a better feeling when you play with your own money. If you ask for money, that mean you lost yours....That means you have a hard time even with the micro limits. So giving you money it's for sure a bad decision. I have a bet with a friend, he start with $0 and must reach $150 and I give him $500. He has a hard time and he is a decent player. He's playing the $1/2 on other sites and he's doing well. But having nothing for bankroll (or a minimum) is definitely tough! He lost the few bucks he won with frerolls a couples of times already. I even think the bet might not be fair, and I might give him more if he reach the goal. So if it's tough for a decent player, the odds are pretty bad for an average even beginner player, right? Do yourself a favor and don't ask for money, be patient, have discipline, practice and manage your bankroll correctly. Take care, I wish you the best with your poker game.
  4. Play the freerolls and get your rankings up then people may stake you. One reason not to stake someone though is that why would they be asking for money in the first place if they were any good?
