- That's a good question? Don't know, and don't understand either. If somebody is ready to spend money to buy play money.....Why not just make a deposit and play with real money? Poker is game made to be playing with real money....Period. Play money is a good approach for beginners, but the next step must be real money, even if it's small limits. Take care
- Some people don't want to gamble, and this is there way to play for fun. Even if they buy chips.
- The low buy-in play money tables are full of donkeys (all-in idiots, calling stations, sitters, etc...), whereas the higher buy-in tables are a little better competition. Some people don't want to put in the time to accumulate a lot of play money chips to get into the higher buy-in play tourneys. Besides, $12 is nothing for a recreation/hobby you can enjoy for hours (without risk) so I don't blame those people for paying for chips.
- never heard of the place you went been selling chips for years now lol anyhow i sell mine at pschipsource.com lots of people buy and sell cause think about it buy 1 mill thats cheap you can play for weeks even months depending how good you are. also theres lots of games that have been created 40k or fold races guts and that can get expensive but you have alot of chips its fun. poker doesnt always have to be about gambling for real money some ppl like to socialize and just have some fun :) im glad they do buy chippies who else would i sell my chips to so i can double up and build a nice stack in real money lol
- you got a great deal, you gave $0 and got $12. Play money is worthless, the guy is out of his mind. The way people play on the free games makes it so beginners cant even learn anymore. No one cares so no one plays real poker.
