1. if you have an account with money yes. that money is guaranteed to stay there. but banks are not allowed to deposit money to poker sites anymore. so play well, don't goose egg your account balance.
2. The US banned Internet Gambling last year but there are many loopholes that allow it to still take place. Check out http://www.bettingshark.com for the ones that are still legal.
3. It is NOT illegal to gamble online if you can get money into an account. It's not as easy as it used to be to get your money into an account but you can still do it. You have to use what is called an eWallet like ePassporte. This is basically exactly the same as PAYPAL except for gambling sites. 4. Yes, you can still gamble online. There are many loopholes for depositing/withdrawing your money. Some credit cards will let you make a deposit, or there's an e-wallet called epassporte that you can use. It all depends on your bank and credit card. You just have to keep trying different ways. My credit card let me deposit the first time, and now I can't. You can also play in freerolls, which cost you nothing, but with a chance to win real money. I use full tilt poker, not sure about other sites, but I'm sure they have them as well. Hope this helped.
