How to Play Poker Videos

Question about online poker sites?

So I started playing for real money on a online poker site and I put in 200 hundred dollars and lost it all. But it doesn't show that any money has been taken out of my checking account, I paid for the 200 with my debit card. How will they charge me? Do they send me a bill, and if they do how do I pay it?

  1. Are you playing at fulltiltpoker? I hope so there by far the best poker site on the net not to mention they give a nice poker bonus. Here is the link to check them out. http://www.fulltiltpoker.com?key=MDAwMDIzMUMwMDAwNENBNDAwMDAwMDAwMDAwMDAwMDA-
  2. Thats strange, may be you got lucky
  3. Since you said you used a debit card, can I assume it's Bodog? If so, their payment systems have been really slow lately. They say they're working on it, but the regulations have been tough on them. I've had deposits with them take a little while to get charged to my card. How long has it been? I'd expect to eventually get charged. You won't get a bill though, they'd just charge it to the card. Maybe you just got lucky though. If so, congrats!
  4. If I was you I wouldn't use any online gambling sites.. This past summer the US goverment banned all online gambling... I know at least 10 people who lost all there money they had in a gambling site... So, if i was you.. I would be very careful with ANY online gamblining sites.. But, if you want to try a good safe site.. BoDog.com is the best... They told US goverment, I don't care what you want, I'm doing this.. And you probley seen a few of the comercials too.. There not going anywhere anytime soon.. They also have BIG tourneys in poker.. I use them and like them too.. BoDog will also send you your money bt western union (for a fee) You can try this site, epassporte.com which is an online Visa debit card account. You can then put money into your account using your debit card or transfering it from your bank account but, again you have ot be very careful because the US goverment has been known to freeze accounts that are use for online gambling... Its why paypal and others aren't used anymore... Well, good luck with everything.. Feel free to ask me anything... 13 years in the casino business
  5. Jason ( above answer ) is so full of it!!! If you put the money in this week expect delays dew to the holiday. They will charge your debit card, If not Great for you. Don't worry they won't send you a bill. If your going to still play on-line then I would suggest you play at Pokerstars, full tilt, or absolute poker. All can be found at http://upnorthbetting.net/
  6. Make sure you have the money waiting there, because chances are it will come out of your account witin the next few days, or weeks.
  7. Are you sure that it is a real money site? Did you give them the right checking acct number?
  8. It will take some time to show up in your checking account. Because poker sites no longer can offer the "inst-debit" thru banks they process are the debit and check transactions differently now, and it often takes a couple days to show up in your account. Don't worry.....it will show up eventually. If you're at Bodog and used the checking account/insta-check feature it could take over a week.....so make sure you keep enough money in there to cover it when it does process. Back when Bodog first brought the insta-check, I made one that took over 3 weeks to clear my bank account because they had such a RUSH of transactions because of the new feature. Right now, they have it down to a couple days, although sometimes it can be as much as a week. One more thing - if you're broke and don't want to lose anymore money, may I suggest you check out - http://www.freepoker4cash.com/ ? It's a free site where you can win real cash. It's legal in the US and the prize money is paid by advertisers. They just upgraded their software and it's a cool place to play freerolls for cash and entry into the big money tourneys they run on weekends. It's also a better place to WORK on your game because it's not a bunch of idiots goofing around like a "play money" table. Definitely worth checking out.
  9. Try the new site nutsforpoker.com, it is easy to load money, it has a free tournament every week and your odds are great! You won't be sorry!
