- Stu Ungar was brilliant, though beset by personal demons. Johnny Chan against nearly anyone! Greg Raymer is a bonafide player. Joe Hachem is a pro. Though it pains me, Phil Hellmuth. Dan Harrington is an underrated champion. Phil Ivey is perhaps the best poker player currently playing. Gus Hansen's aggression has produced excellent results. Mike Matusow may blow up, but his talent and results are hard to ignore. Very perceptive. Daniel Negreanu is excellent - a consistent performer. Allen Cunningham is the most consistent winner in the World Series, won player of the year is 2005, nearly won it again in 2006, and hardly gets any credit as a "great". Paul Wasicka is for real! Followed his 2nd place in 2006 with a win in the Heads Up Championship.

- You're missing a few of the players I'd throw in but... Unger (really interesting matchup but he's still the best that ever played.) Chan Raymer (in like 3 hands...) Hachem Ferguson (I just can't vote Phil for ANYTHING...) Moss (right behind Unger in rank. A Moss-Unger match-up is gonna be really hard to pick.) Ivey Lindgren (GREAT match-up here.) Harman Negreanu Cunningham Wasicka
