- I believe that they are called "Poker Peek" KEM cards. From what I've been hearing the players at the World Series of Poker are having problems with them. They are miss reading their hands, especially with sixes and nines. They say that the print is too small among other things. The Player Advisory Commitee says that these aren't the design they approved. The tournament director is said to have had so many complaints that he is having some of the standard cards being shipped in from L.A.
- they are called the "poker peek" cards made by the united states playing card company through kem...the cards haven't worked out so good at the wsop, players are complaining that the print in the corners is too small to read, and if they look at the bigger numbers further down the card the people next to them can see what they have...also, players can't tell 6s from 9s, and can't read the suits on the cards unless they are in the center of the table...they even have the commissioner of the wsop's signature on the back, but with the name misspelled...the wsop player advisory committee members have said they didn't approve these cards, and the tournament director got a bunch of standard cards shipped in as a result of complaints by many players, a threat by johnny chan not to play unless there were different cards, and a suggestion by mike matusow to boycott the series
