  1. If I follow the odds, it won't be a pro (again)......So I go for the unknown player. But yes, it will be cool to see a pro at the final table ( I hope I be sitting there too..) OK phesant tail give a few name so I have to pick some (lol), I go with: P.IVEY, D.NEGREANU, J.HACHEM, J.JUANDA, A. BLOCH, E.SEIDEL, and I give one women (lol) J.HARMAN....So many possibility! Take care
  2. Greg Raymer will play well Howard Lederer, Dan Negraneau, Joe Hachem should fare well also. Jamie Gold will get bounced quick, as will Matasow. Hellmuth...........final table or bust on the 1rst day. I like Scottie Wynn to do it again. "I call, baby". BTW: never discount Doyle Brunson or TJ Cloutier
  3. allan cunningham or daniel negreanu!!
  4. The so called pros should be out numbered 8 to one this year if not more. I sure some crazy Internet player will make a run. I think the pros have a hard time with the new breed poker player. They don't follow the conventional play the pros are used to seeing. But I would like to see Phil Ivy or Chris Jesus Ferguson go far this year.
  5. Actually, the field won't be anywhere near last year. With most of the major online sites closed, satellite entries will be down & the WSOP is not going to accept as many seats from online sites that it did in '06. I would guess around 5k max. Plus, the gap in talent between "amateurs" & pros has diminished. People who were considered amateurs 3-4 years ago have achieved experience & playing aptitude quicker due to greater online & tv exposure. Even so, at a final table, a pro would still get the nod. (p.s. Scotty Nguyen, not Scotty Wynn... have a clue).
