- Me......
- Matt Damon.
- hahahah good choice sir i agree except don forget bout STUY UNGER OR THE UP AND COMING PHIL IVEY
- I'd have to say Phil Ivey. Consistency in the Main Event is better proof than winning a bunch of secondary events, and one Main Event 10-15 years ago.
- Phil Ivey, Jesus or my personal fave Gus Hansen.
- I think Dan Harrington is the best poker pro. Just because he doesn't have as many first place finishes under his belt, He won the World Series of Poker main event in 1995 and most recently made the final table at the 2003 and 2004 main events. That's a heck of a lot of people to get through. I don't give too many props to the so called "pros". All that means is that they have the money to pony up for hundreds of high stakes, TV tournaments with few people in them. Just by default, you are going to see the same mixture of 20 or so people on the final table. I'm not saying that they don't have some skill to them, but I think there are an incredible number of those with equal skill who don't have so much money to play around with. There is only so much you can do with 2 cards in your hand.
- Phil Helmuth is a decent tournament player, compared to the other top pros. But he's a horrible cash game player, and will not even get into a cash game with the likes of Harmon, Negraneau, and the other top players. Stu Unger would have embarrassed Helmuth if he had lived. There are at least a dozen players better than Helmuth, including Furgeson, Ivey, Harmon, and Lederer.
- Well if you go by WSOP Bracelets, which is a good measure, you have Phil, Johnny, and Doyle. When it comes to the future you have to think Ivey and Negreanu are going to be people to watch.
- Phil Ivey is arguably the best poker player of all time. Here are my reasons. He has 5 bracelets at the World Series of Poker. His tournament record is remarkable. He plays in the biggest cash games in the world He played heads up against the Texas Billionaire for millions of dollars He took 3rd in the HORSE event at the World Series of Poker. His instincts are one of the best in the game.
- THE MAN......... DOYLE BRUNSON
