- Phil Ivey - he's a great statistician as well as a great actor and reader. He also doesn't have the attitude a lot of poker players have cough*Phil Hellmuth*cough
- i think that daniel negreanu is one of the best poker players out there, he's very good good at reading people and he also good at bluffing!
- Daniel Negranu is my favorite poker player. Not only is he a nice guy, but he is fun at the table, has great poker knowledge and uncanny poker instincts. I was watching him the other night on TV. He flopped 2-pair and he knew he was beat and that his opponant flopped a set! He called the guys hand and layed down his top 2-pair. He is a pleasure to watch and the Vegas favorite to win the 2007 WSOP this year.
- Howard Lederer. When I first started to play poker I read a tip somewhere that said to pick a player and try to emulate him or her until you develope your own style. I saw Howard Lederer bust from the 2004 WSOP, and he did it with such class. He flopped top set and lost to someone trying to be a bully with a flush draw. The more I saw him play the more I admired his game. He's fairly tight, aggressive, and never gets rattled at the table. When I first started to play poker online I actually played with Lederer a lot on Full Tilt Poker. He used to play lots of low limit razz (7 card stud low). He schooled me out of a pot and taught me a valuable lesson I still remember to this day. He's tha man!
- if i had to pick only one, i would take daniel negreanu...he's got tremendous instincts and is very personable at the table, which is why so many people, including myself, enjoy watching him play
