How many people in the United States would you estimate are professional poker players?

1. That's pretty much impossible to answer. There are so many people who play for a living that don't become famous.
2. There are so many poker players who are successful at poker that doesn't appear on TV, magazine or any sort. Add online poker players and the numbers jump up. Finding a number for the amount of players is just simply unrealistic.
3. There is no answer at that question, too hard to say! I know several poker pros (I also make my living with poker) But giving you a number.......Not a clue. How many people would you estimate are professional bartenders? A lot, sure but how many? Again hard to give a number.
