- Every 5 hands you rotate the dealer left. Everyone has big blinds but one has small blind evry turn.
- . I've been playing poker with a set of high school friends for over thirty years. Don't know what you mean about blind and big blind, but I can tell you how we rotate the deal. We play that whoever won the last hand deals the next one AND decides what game we're going to play. That way we get a variety of dealers and a variety of different poker games throughout the evening. It's a great way to sit around and BS with friends and have fun. Enjoy it! .
- You all deal in turn it passes around clockwise, start with highest card deals then work awound the table, always remember to move your big blind and little blind chips.
- Yes The Dealer Has The Dealer Chip (clockWise) Next Small Blind Then The Person After that Is Big Blind After every hand All The CHips Move Clockwise 1 TIME!
- Have a seperate chip or device to designate dealer and have it revolve clockwise so everyone gets to deal and have your blinds set up off of who is dealing. That way it is very fair and everybody ends up being big and small. Hope this helps
- There are two things you can do. You can pick a person to be the official dealer, which helps move the game a little quicker, especially if they are fast at shuffling and dealing. Otherwise, people pass the button to the left, which is what would happen even if you had a set dealer, and that person with the button would have to be dealer for that turn. Whoever has the button deals. Person to the left of the dealer is small blind, the person to the left of the small blind is the big blind. Read up on the rules online just to make sure there's no confusion, and have fun!
- I am guessing you are playing Texas Hold'em if you have the dealer chip basically the dealer chip gets passed each time the hand is over to the person to the left of the previous dealer. And the small and big blinds move the same fashion. if the next person to deal goes out then the person dealing the hand redeals the next hand and then continue as though the "out" dealer weren't there.
- The way that I have always played is that once the hand is over, you pass the deal to the left. So every hand you have a different dealer.
- The dealer button moves one spot clockwise after every hand. The first person to the left of the dealer is the Small Blind and the 2nd on the left is the Big Blind. Once the cards are dealt the 3rd person on the left of the dealer starts the action (either folds, calls the amount of the Big Blind, or raises). After the actions moves around the table the person in the Big Blind has the option to raise if every one has just called. The best way to decide who starts the game as the dealer is to deal a card to each player and the highest card is the dealer.
- To start the game "Ace Up". this means someone shuffles the cards, deals one to everyone face up and the first person to get an ace is the dealer...if no one has an ace, it's the next highest card. That person is the dealer, the person to their left is the small blind, and left of that is the big blind. After each hand, the deal passes to the next person on the left. You have to remember that your small and big blind chips have to move left EVERY hand so the dealer button must as well. As mentioned by someone else, there are scenerios that will come up. 1. If the little blind person is knocked out, the previous dealer must deal again (because the little blind/big blind buttons still have to move). 2. If the big blind person is knocked out, the big blind button moves but the little blind "sits out"...it is dead and no one has to put in any money. this will result in the dealer dealing twice. Hope this helps
