Do you like Poker After Dark, who is your favorite player and who did you wish the show added?
Poker After Dark is one of the few poker programs I have watched on television since I do not have cable. I love playing in Vegas and I have seen a World Series live at Binions a few years ago. The best part about the show is they show every hand. I will list my favorite players and players I wish they would have included after people give their responses. I will vote the best answer to those who give the best reasons vs. matching my favorite players. Players on the show: (In order of appearance): G Hansen, P Hellmuth, S Sheikhan, A Duke, S Zolotow, H Seed, M Matusow, G Kaplan, D Grey, D Brunson, J Buss, D Negreanu, C Moneymaker, J Gold, J Chan, C Ferguson, C Mortenson, S Farha, Tony G, P Ivey, A Bloch, J Harman, P Laak, E Seidel, A Esfandiari, M Konik, P Gordon, H Lederer, C Brown, M Sexton, C Gowen, T Forrest, E Lindgren, J Tilly, P Antonius, A Cunningham, D Benyamine, B Greenstein, J Juanda (several appeared more than once). E Ng, D Luong, V Rousso & C Violette in 2 weeks.

- I like that they show every hand but i find somethings wrong with it. 1.) its not for enough money so none of them are really taking it that seriously. I find this annoying because I want to see how they are really playing a true tournament. If i wanted to want a cash game and the chatter, I would watch high stakes because its for more money 2.) I don't like the lady they go talk to during a hand. Why do i need to blondes insight into things. Other than that its allright. shannon elizabeth would be fun to see on there. Shes better looking than any of them.
- Daniel Negreanu is my favorite. I would like to see some internet pros such as sbrugby, prelad freedman (spirit rock), neverwin, OMGClayAkin, etc. But who i'd like to see the most would be Andy Beal lol...but i know thats not gonna happen anytime soon.
- The fact that, they show every hand is good. A lot of people can understand the game better that way. Meaning, if a player make a bluff with 72, you understand why he's doing it, because of the situation, and because you see every hand. It's not just, like the WSOP on TV for example ( I still like it) where they squeeze some good play of 10hrs in 30mn's. So people see a bluff, or a play....But don't understand why that player acting that way (and want to do the same...And go broke) I enjoyed watching P.IVEY, D.NEGREANU, D.BRUNSON, P.ANTONIUS, J.HARMAN, D. BENYAMINE The show should add: T. BRUNSON, J.HACHEM, C.REESE, G. RAYMER, T.J CLOUTIER, LEE WATKINSON, LAYNE FLACK, TOTO LEONIDAS, JEFF MADSEN, JOSH ARIEH......And more. So yes, I like the show. Take care
- I find the show kind of boring. I'm a big poker fan and I love the poker shows in general. However, I feel like the stakes arent important to the players and that the pace is deadly slow. I know they show all hands but so does High Stakes Poker on GSN and that show is much more entertaining. The announcers on Poker After Dark do not compare to the ESPN guys on WSOP or the GSN guys. They are so much more involving in the action. The show is very boring. The show puts me to sleep even when I was awake at 2am.
- i do like poker after dark, even though i don't usually get to watch it until well after its original airtime, but it is a very entertaining show because as you said, they show every hand...it gives you a good feel of how a tournament plays out the way it does and what leads up to the climactic hands that all tv shows have my favorite player overall is daniel negreanu, and his appearance on the show was very interesting...he played quite differently than he usually does when he played it, probably because of the caliber of player in the show...it really showed me that he has some different gears to his game i wish chip reese, todd brunson, and layne flack were added, although i would imagine they have all turned down an invite somewhere along the line...chip and todd are two of the best cash game players in the world today, and flack is one of the best tournament players and it would be interesting to see him take on some of the best cash players
