- Depends on who was on the button after the flop. If opponent only limped in. I would stay to see the turn. I would not stay to see the river. you only have High card and no draw. Odds are he would win anyway.
- If your opponent bets he wins
- u really can't do odd calculate here cause we don't know what opp. hold. in heads up game A9 is strong hand but u didn't provide any details like if someone bet on pre-flop, flop, turn, and river. lets look at what hands could beat your hand. any pocket pair, AK AQ AJ AT A8 A7 A6 KQ K8 K7 K6, any Q with rag, any 8 with rag, any 7 with rag, any 6 with rag. if your opp. have any card beside all this hands i list, u win. except A9 for tie.
- i think u mean to ask are what are your odds of surving!! you are way, way behind!!! there are three 6s, three 8's, two sevens, three queens, he could be holding a small pair (most likely) or an ace with a higher kicker, k, j, 10 and there are three each of those, all in all about 25 different cards that will wreck your good day....hope u didnt go all in!! dont fidget and you could bluff a miracle!!
- dont know
- they're pretty high...you can try to bluff him/her out of the hand..... But, in theory, since there are "technically" 3 8s, 3 Qs, 3 6s, and 2 7s left in the deck (11 cards), that gives your opponent a minimum of about 21% of winning from that alone....not to mention any pocket pair will beat you, any Ace with a 10 or above, any 9-10 combo or 5-4 combo will beat you too.... Basically, unless they have absolute crapola, you better bluff them out of the pot to win.
