How to Play Poker Videos

So now POKER is a new COOL trend, are these the same people who like NASCAR and are fake bikers on weekends?

Just seems like when the market the new pokers shows, and websites, they are aiming at the same demographic of people who watch NASCAR, fishing shows, and pretend to be bikers at gatherings on the weekends, even though they are just lawyers and garbage men on the weekdays? Poker is not a sport! And car racing is just barely one. Is there anything these people will not buy? (Remember Billy Bass, the singing bass fish?).

  1. i agree, nascar totally sucks. i definately do not consider it a sport, same goes for poker. waste of time slots on espn and espn 2, they need to find something more entertaining
  2. C'mon guys!!! Not everybody spends all their time on the computer talking to strangers like we do. At least they have a life.
  3. Baby, a good marketing program can sell sheep dung to a sheep herder. It's all about the money and making people THINK they are having fun.
  4. I live not to far from Lowe's Motor Speedway and there are race shops all over down here. I don't much care for NASCAR but the majority of people I know are into it, including my parents and brother. I wouldn't really consider poker a sport either but then again if you look at the definition of “sport” it could cover a wide range of things. Since sport doesn't mean just being athletic. I can't really understand why people would want to watch poker or even fishing and golf for that matter. That would for sure put me to sleep! I'm kinda upset that poker has taken over the travel channel. Every time I look to see what's on there it's like 5 hours of poker. Last time I checked poker didn't involve traveling? Hopefully it will run it's course like bowling and billiards, hardly ever see that on unless you have like ESPN 105 or something. And heck that's even more exciting then poker!
