In Texas Holdem poker, who shows their cards 1st?

If all the cards are out and theres 2 players left, and the player to the right checks, then the player after him bets and the 1st player calls. Which player is obliged to show their cards 1st?

1. I believe it's the one who bets. The last to act is always the last to show.
2. The second player. If I I check,and you bet and I call, you will have to show your cards first.
3. The bettor shows. If "A" bets and "B" calls, "A" shows first. If A checks, and B checks, whoever bet the previous round shows. If its checked through from the flop, the person on the dealer's left shows first.
