whats a good poker site to play at for real money where competition is mediocre?
Public Comments
- i personally like to use fulltilt.com or bodog.com
- Im writing in this so i can look back to what sites are given.
- Full-tilt has a goo mixture of both good and bad. Pokerstars has a pretty mediocre field, and so does Ultimatebet from my understanding. I can really only speak from experience on the first two though.
- I've heard Full Tilt can be pretty tough, so be careful. Lots of people who wanna take on the pros there. I've only played at Pacific and Poker Stars so far, but I've gotta say Pacific is much softer. So many people are willing to put their money in on nothing but a draw, and very few people have any concept of pot odds. Players often suck out, but in the long run, I've been able to win a lot more pots because my opponents will make foolish bets and calls. Bodog and pretty much any other sports betting site that offers poker has a reputation for being a fish tank as well.
- Try Absolute or Party poker beginner tables if you are not a US resident. See Absolute's promotions and bonus codes: http://www.casino-poker-rules.com/Absolute-Poker-News.htm
- Try mansion poker. There aren't alot of people on that site yet but the ones that are on there aren't the best. I play on full tilt aswell and I have noticed alot less suckouts on mansion.
- all sites have their sharks (or they think they are) and novices..
