How to Play Poker Videos

Are Thursday nights after 11pm a good time to play poker at casinos?

i asked a question a couple weeks ago about what time is best to play poker and several people told me after midnight on the weekends- i went last week, everyone at my table looked like theyd never played poker before and i won ~$130 in about 2 hours. are thursday nights good too, or is it mostly just weekends when the bad players are out late?

  1. The time doesn't really matter, true week-ends are of course full of tourists, but basicaly the first thing you do when you seat at the table is to analyze what kind of player you have at the table, and hear me out here, I mean the person not the poker style they might have. In less than 5mns, You should be able to see that:young, old, drunk, "fun gambler", big talker, focus player, don't care about the money, go for luck........etc so many questions you can ask yourself and analyze quickly. And depending on your analyze your style of play must adapt to it. Take care
  2. Depends on what kind of town you live in. I'm in a pretty conservative spot, so Thursdays are slow. But when I lived in a college town the weekend officially started on Thursday, and that was one of the best days to go play (drink specials + poker = money). Basically you're looking for a place with a lot of bored, drunk, young people. Without knowing more of your situation all I can say is go scout out different casinos, and see what there is to see. You know your turf better than I do.
  3. it really depends on where you are i say you shouldnt worry about it but most people who seek out weak players will go in at 3am to the casinos that attract the most tourists they do this hoping to see a bunch of drunk ametuers personally i think you should just go when you feel the most aware and most people suck at poker hold-em has a more knowledgable group of players but they are still ussually weak players any way good luck
