i have a lottery card called poker nights. and this is what the dealer has 2 4 7 Q K all diamonds suited. and i have several numbers, and they are 7 8 9 10 A all clubs except for the A is a diamond. the next numbers are 3 4 5 Q K mixed suits. next numbers are 6 6 9 Q A all mixed suites, next numbers are 3 4 5 6 7 all mixed suits, next numbers are j j 2 2 6 mixed suits, next numbers are 8 8 8 3 7 mixed suits. iam trying to learn how to play poker and i just picked up a lottery ticket. so if any bodu could tell me did the dealer win this hand because as i stated iam just a beginner and eager to learn this game. any comments will be helpful, thank you and god bless.

1. Yes the dealer had a flush(all cards the same suit). Your best hand was a straight (34567 with mixed suit).
2. dealer 2 4 7 Q K all diamonds = flush you: 7 8 9 10 A ace being a diamond = Ace high 3 4 5 Q K = King high 6 6 9 Q A = One pair 3 4 5 6 7 mixed suit = straight...but a flush beats a straight J J 2 2 6 = Two pair, again flush beats 2 pair 8 8 8 3 7 = 3 of a kind which a flush also beats hands that beat a flush are..full house (3 of the same and 2 of the same ex: ( K K J J J ) four of a kind, 4 of the same number or letter cards, not the same suit ex: ( 9 9 9 9 4 ) straight flush: five consecutive cards that are of the same suit ex: ( A 2 3 4 5 all being either hearts diamonds clubs or spades ) hope this was helpful.
