How do i play poker exactly?

I just plain have no idea how to play whatsoever! But i really want to learn so when im at my friends house we can play it. The only thing i think i know is that and "Ace" is really good.

  2. I would say that poker is a game of skills where luck also matters. Many a times one can simply won by sticking to the basics. But for learning skills one must have good knowledge of basics and ability to implement them. Look out internet for various articles and tutorials

  7. The first thing to learn is what hand beats what, so I took the liberty to list them in the highest ranking order first. 1. Royal Flush: A, K, Q, J, 10 all of the same suit 2. Straight Flush Any five card sequence in the same suit (Ex: 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 all in hearts) 3. Four of a Kind: All four cards of the same index (Ex: Q, Q, Q, Q) 4. Full House: Three of a kind combined with a pair (Ex: K, K, 3, 3, 3) 5. Flush: Any five cards of the same suit, but not in sequence 6. Straight: Five cards in sequence, but not in the same suit 7.
