What is the probability of this happening in poker?
So i was playing 5-card poker yesterday and me along with 2 friends each got a straight flush. Spades, Diamonds, and Hearts. What is the probability of this happening and how could do you calculate it? thanks

- a standard 52 card deck has been assumed there are 10 straight sequences, and they have to be in the 3 suits specified. i am assuming that a royal flush is also included in the specs. ways 3 friends can get specified cards = (10C1*4C3)*(10C1*4C2)*(10C1*4C1) = 9.6000*10^4 = A ways they can get any 5 cards = 52C5*47C5*42C5 = 3.3913*10^18 = B reqd. probability = A/B = 2.8308 / 10^14
