Why does ESPN rarely ever broadcast any soccer games?
Its really rear when they broadcast any soccer. Not even on sportcenter, I'm so tired of hearing about all the college games every time I turn on sportcenter...They don't even broadcast any of the MLS games...I swear I saw the national speeling bee on espn. WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they rather show things like that, poker, billiards, and a bunch of other ridiculous crap. Whats your opinion on this?

- Because we live in America where soccer isn't even that big of a sport like football, baseball, basketball, or even hockey is. They show highlights or top plays only if its the only thing on tv like when uefa is on. Sure it sucks but that is exactly how it is. Soccer isn't big here.
- Soccer isn't popular in the USA. ESPN knows they wouldn't have high ratings.
- I think the spelling bee gets more watchers then soccer games do.... Not many people at all watch soccer in america. It is just not a popular sport and there may only be one highlight in an entire game of soccer...
- I agree they should show more, but they do show an MLS game almost every Thurday night. They also show most of the UEFA cup on Classic (Live games). They also showed all of the US qualifiers from the last round. They could show more for sure, but they are getting much better. Plus they ALWAYS put the greatest goals of the day on the Sportscenter Top 10.
