Straight In 5 card poker?
i was playing my mom in 5 card draw poker right ? and i came up to a hand that was joker,king,ace,2,3,4 or king,ace,2,3,4,joker and she said that it was not a straight because it goes high low but we did not mention that in the beginning that we can go high to low so i assumed that we can but technically isn't my hand a straight?

- You seem to have 6 cards which is not allowed in 5 card draw. If however you are playing with jokers WILD, thne your hand of Ace,2,3,4, Joker is indeed a straight.
- No. A straight is 5 cards in order. In a straight involving a King and an Ace, the ace is highest. In a straight involving an ace and a duece, the ace is lowest. Therefore, KA234 can not be a straight because Ace can not be bother high and low at the same time.
