Can you get in trouble for having multiple registered accounts on Pokerstars?
Not using both at the same time or anything, just having more than one registered in your name.

- Absolutely. It's against the terms of service. If you already have multiple accounts, your best bet would be to inform them which account is inactive, and ask them to cancel it. Chances are, if Poker Stars finds that you have more than one account, but have no other reason to suspect cheating, they would contact you and ask you to choose which to deactivate. However, if they have any reason to suspect cheating, you could be banned, or even forfeit some money. So take the first step yourself.
- No .. In fact we have two accounts with pokerstars. Do you think I want my daughter messing with my poker account? But that's the deal... we can not have both accounts playing at the same time. But being only one computer here . It's no problem.
- I don't think so. I emailed the support because my girlfriend and I both have accounts and live together and they said it was okay. Also, I told them we were getting another computer and would like to play together (for play money) and they said it was okay. I do have more than one account. I signed up once like 3 years ago and used it a few times, and then signed up again last year, which is the account I regularly use and nobody has said anything to me. You should be fine. They seem really laid back. I'm always emailing support about something and they're really cool.
- I would say that it is wrong to have more than one account, playing them at the same time especially. To play 2 accounts at the same table would likely get you into serious criminal trouble as one could suggest that you are cheating at play which is a crime. Would be easy enough to prove through the computers, especially if you're winning. Get rid of all extra accounts and save yourself some headaches/jailtime.
- They wont find out if you make the accounts in different names, only thing is you wont be able to play on both accounts at the same time because they can match your i.p addresses. What can raise there suspiciouns is that they also can track down dodgy play if someone reports it if you happen to be using both accounts at the same time.
