How can you defend yourself from unscrupulous online poker sites like Full Tilt?

1. I can't even get through the cashier on FT. It's a second rate site compared to pokerstars. Just play on pokerstars.. more people play on there and the software is better, faster, and more reliable than Full Tilt. Also FT customer service takes longer than 24 hours just to get a response.
2. Unfortunately there is nothing at all you can do about it. Full Tilt is just not very responsive these days, I too have had a lot of delays in trying to contact anyone there. Leave the site, as many others have, and play at a legal site. In the USA there are several sites that offer 100% USA legal poker, where you are fully protected by US law in the event of any disputes. You can play at these sites and use your regular charge cards with NO problems about depositing and getting paid, or about any gambling laws. 3. I have learned the hard way that we have little to no recourse against poker sites which are mainly based offshore. So, my advice is go with the most popular and most reputable which is PokerStars. They have more people at the site, better support, better withdrawal processing, micro stakes games for those who want to start small, and a more competitive rake for many of the tournaments. In short, they provide a better experience for players than Full Tilt does. They are also a publicly traded company in the UK which makes them more accountable to the public than companies such as Full Tilt.
