How do you play online poker in America?
All the poker sites I've gone to say that I am not allowed to put in online deposits in America... and was wondering if there were still sites that accepted deposits

- there are plenty of sites that allow Americans. Check out http://www.ultimatepokerbankroll.com and their bonus reviews. Any site that allows Americans has a little flag next to it. If you want to deposit you will need to use a debit card or a service like EWalletXPress or Quick Tender. I'd say Quick Tender is the best of all the options.
- Hi, I am an American and play on several different sites. I like Full Tilt and Poker Stars the best. There are some reviews of each at http://poker-lobby.com and http://dagus-statistics.com/reviews both have great online poker articles and tips on how to securely deposit and withdraw. Hope this helps.
- With great difficulty because of the Wire Act 1961. Some use Neteller to get round it
- Well in response to pokerknave, with the greatest of ease actually, although Neteller is no longer an option. There's three main ways to do this. First of all if you have a U.S. bank account you can often send them an echeck and they will take the money right out of your account. Second you could use a third party processor like an ewallet. Third you could buy an all access visa which are generally available around the country. The best advice here is to find a room you like that accepts U.S. players and many still do, then check out their deposit options and choose whatever is most convenient for you. The wire act by the way has been ruled by the courts as not being applicable to games like poker and just deals with sports betting, not that it stops that either, nor has specific legislation by several states. It's smoke and mirrors only the smoke machine isn't working and the mirrors are cracked :) The Ultimate in Poker Tips and Strategy http://kingcobrapoker.com
