- Well a lot of the stuff out there including the stuff on my site presumes at least a basic understanding of the game and if you don't have that you will find it difficult to get through more advanced stuff. The first thing you need to do is make sure you know the rules and then get into some introductory lessons about the concepts of the game. Then you can get into some of the strategy stuff and work your way up to the advanced lessons. You can do a web search on "poker rules" and "beginners poker lessons" to get you started. Momo that's a pretty nice site you have for someone who just learned the game.
