If I download pokerstars at work, will they be able to tell?
I work in a small office and we outsource our IT dept. Thanks.

- If they're paying any attention at all to their network, then yes they will definitely be able to tell.
- They might not be able to at first, but once you get caught, you'll be sorry you did.
- Yes... there is some very sophisticated software now. An acquaintance who works in the IT department of a very large corporation said that all network transactions are recorded and stored. He said that if his corporate policies were strictly enforced, over half of the employees would be terminated. Many companies save the data for legal purposes. If the productivity of an employee becomes an issue, the IT department might pull that employee's data file to determine his computer activities. Scarey stuff. Also, there are legal issues such as protecting intellectual property, government compliance, and protecting against criminal activity, including child porn, et al.
- Even without sophisticated software it is easy to tell. A good IT person can pick that out easy. Question is, does your boss mind you having it on your computer. Some office's do not mind their employee's downloading a game like that and playing it, say on their lunch hour.
- if you go here and use a NO DOWNLOAD "Flash" poker site, then you can play anywhere - http://www.gamblingcasinodirectory.com/best_online_poker.html
