How to Play Poker Videos

Do you have to be 21 to play for real money on Pokerstars.com? or is all you need a bank account?

If you are not 21 can you still use real money on PokerStars if you supply a valid bank account? Or will they know you're not 21 from your bank information?

  2. It depends on what country you live in.... You cant do it at all, at any age, if you live in the United States.

  5. well when you sign up you need to give them your info. BUT sense their server is not in US you might get away with it
  6. PokerStars don't know anything about you unless you tell them. So you can give them any DoB you like. Since most countries in the world consider people adults at 18, they are probably most concerned that you are over 18 rather than over 21. That said, if you are worried, just tell them you are over 21. If you live in the US your bank won't be any good, since 99% of American banks automatically decline online gambling transactions. You'll need a third party account with a company like epassporte.com. Transfer your money to epassporte.com and from there hassle free in and out of your Poker Stars account. Oh and to answer your other question, your bank information does not reveal personal information such as your age to third parties. This would be a violation of your privacy.
  7. PokerStars is already in violation of the U.S. laws regarding gambling (or the way they're being interpreted now, anyway). They don't care if you're 21. You can give them any birthdate and they don't check. I started there when I was 18 and it was no problem.
  8. you should have no problem, I know that some of the players playing the highest stakes online are under 21 and living in the U.S.
