- i thought they outlawed online poker for $$
- Dude i love poker. Glad you asked. You CAN play online at any age...the only verification needed is a credit card. There isn't any real way to tell if a player is under the age of 18 so don't worry about the website "Finding Out" because they can't. One thing you need to understand is BE VERY CAREFUL if you decide to "Borrow" mums credit card follow the online instructions and only bet a small amount...just say $10. Most of the bets don't exceed $3 and with a number of players the pot can reach $60 to $100 depending on the table minimum. I suggest testing out online poker at yahoo/games texas hold 'em poker. It's a great way to warm up and you can try out betting with fake money before you feel good enough to play for real. Good luck!
- Yes you can. I think at some sites, you neet to be 21, but I don't really know about that.
- I play at Pokerstars for real money. They have all sorts of tounaments starting literally every second. It's the best site out there and the most fair and respected. They always test their computers for true randomness. If you love Hold Em, Stud, HORSE, Omaha, you will LOVE POKERSTARS!! Oh, you also earn frequent player point for stuff like hats, posters, mugs, books.
- If you're American, good luck in getting money there, though. I was playing at Party Poker last year, but then they passed that law that makes it illegal for banks to allow you to move money to these known online gambling sites. Neteller (similar to PayPal, but European) used to work, but Neteller has decided to shut their doors to American customers, and I will probably lose my deposits with them. I would love to go back and play. But the political climate is not friendly to poker players online, and since you're dealing in a fuzzy legal climate, I'd be careful. Even if you are amazing at poker, it's the law you need to be concerned about here. Worst case scenario -- you send money to Full Tilt, then the Safe Port Act is very harshly enforced, Full Tilt goes out of business, and you lose your money. Best case scenario -- your bank prevents you from making the deposit to Full Tilt, thereby saving you from the risk of losing it as the law is interpreted in the courts.
- you can play for money if your 18. my friend made like 30000 doing that.
- i don't play so i don't know.
