Can you remind me how to play poker?
I haven't played in a long time and just bought a new poker set and was wondering if someone could tell me what the chips are worth. I have white, red, blue and green. Thank you all for your help.

- this is Texas hold em the player to deal the first hand can be decided by any method .the dealer button is placed in front of the person who is dealing .the dealer button is moved clockwise after each hand.then the next player becomes the dealer. the dealer will deal to cards face down which are called pocket cards .do not let any other player see these cards. a round of betting takes place . the dealer then turns up 3 cards on the board that are called the flop .thus each player with own pocket cards and the flop already have th equivalent of a five card poker hand. a second round of betting will take place . the dealer will turn over a fourth card which is call the turn or the fourth street. a third round of betting will take place. the dealer will turn over a fifth card witch is called the river . a fourth and final round of betting takes place. the showdown -each player may use as many of all of the cards on the board to make the best hand. the players who have not folded yet show there hands the best hand wins the pot. if more then one person get the same thing the pot is then split between them
- unless the chips have a value printed on them they can be worth whatever you want them to be worth. at my ghome games the values you listed are normally: Red - 1K White - 500 Blue - 100 green - 25
