Daniel Negreanu Collectible Plaque? They sell collectible plaques of pokerchampions online and since my husband's idol is Daniel Negreanu, I want to buy it for his birthday. But it seems to be sold out everywhere. Does anyone know where they have it for sure? I saw it on one website but there it costs more than double as much as on other sites. And it's frustrating when you know you could have had it for cheaper. So please help! Thanx I saw it for around $70, one was site even had it for $58. The one site that has it available has it for $159 :o/
Daniel Negreanu question? Would you put all of your tournament chips at stake with the 10 8 like Daniel Negreanu did in the WSOP Main Event? Top pair crap kicker with runner runner straight draw? I can see him making the move all in, but calling off all of his chips like that? I cant say I havent made a stupid call like this before - but not in a big tournament with all of my chips at stake. And if he did think he had a read on this guy - was it still a good call? I think I remember him saying - "you probably got me" ? Does Daniel Negreanu still have these awesome powers to read his opponents like everyone says he does? Im sure he can read better than I can, but I am starting to think that its a myth that these poker players have these great abilities to read the players that they play against. These players know that there are reads out there - they use them themselves - I use them also, but I dont play against Professional Poker Players on a regular basis. I think the reads come mainly from bets. U?
Is Daniel Negreanu gay? Not that I have anything against gay people, but my girlfriend and I were watching poker on tv the other day and she told me that he is clearly gay. I never really noticed it before, but he does have some gay attributes. Anyone have any input?
How likely is it to flop the nuts and have your opponent suck out? I was watching high stakes poker the other night, and Daniel Negreanu got me thinking. How likely is it to flop the stone nuts and still lose the hand? In mathematical terms? Is there any way to calculate the probability of flopping the nuts and then having the nuts change, and your opponent holds the necessary cards? I know it's not likely, but I once watched a guy flop quad kings, and lose when the guy he was playing against had AA and caught runner-runner aces. What are the odds of that happening in a general sense? Are there too many variables to calculate?
The best poker player heads up Event 2? Battle of the Champ Bracket 1 Stu Ungar vs. Joe Hachem Johnny Chan vs. Phil Helmuth Greg Raymer vs. Johnny Moss Battle of the Rats Bracket 2 Eric Lindgren vs. Allen Cunningham Paul Wasicka vs. Jennifer Harman Phil Ivey vs. Daniel Negreanu pick who you think would win a heads up match and person with most votes goes on to event 3
What 3 poker players would you NOT want to see at your table, and why? My picks are Gus Hansen, Mike Matusow, and Daniel Negreanu. mine are Daniel Negraneau, Mike Matusow, and Gus Hansen. Daniel is the best poker player around I think and will pick off your plays like nothing. Mike puts so much into every tournament he plays and you know he'll pounce on any weakness then leave you feeling like a novice. Gus will play any two cards like he has Aces so you'll have absolutly no idea what he has at any given time.
Is this Daniel Negreanu clip real or fake? I still can't work it out. If it's fake then both of these two are good actors! http://betting.betfair.com/poker/web-watch/daniel-negreanu-in-sick-tilt-video-170408.html
is there something about 5 9 in poker? Everytime i see 59 in my hand or on the community cards something really odd happend......... not just me but my friends noticed this too. ill give you examples. First: my friend has 59 suited (hearts) in the casino against 2 players flop is "9 10 J" 2 hearts on the board. so he like flush draw with trips draw with 2 pair draw..... both players go all in for like 100 dollars my friend knows this 5 9 ordeal so he calls. every body shows there cards. 1 guy has 9 J two pair other guy has QA of hearts better flush draw soooooooo only way he could win this hand is running 5s which happens everybody is shocked!!!!!!!!!!! worst hand loses... Next me: i have a9 i go all in since im short stacked at a tourney my friends calls me to back me up ( he will muck if no 1 calls so i can get some chips) but another guy calls. flop is "4 9 9" i flop trips one guy goes all in my friend has to call because he too has trips...... his hand is 5 9...... turn is a 5 river is a 2 and the other guy had AQ he lost i lost against 59 :( when i had A9 WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Next my other friend: he has kk goes all in with 100 dollars cash game 3 ppl call to crack his kings LOL guess wat some lady had 59 of Diamonds. flop "6d 7s Jd" turn: "Qh" river: "8d" so the lady had a straight and or flush but not a straight flush. How to meet the Poker Pros? Ok, here's my situation. My husband's birthday is coming up in September and he's totally in a poker phase right now and I really wanna do something special for his b'day that has to do with poker. I don't know if "normal" people can get tickets or something to get in the Audience of those pokergames in Atlantic City or something or if they let only those people in to watch, who belong to the players. I wanna take him to one of those games so that he also maybe has a chance to talk to the "big players" like Daniel Negreanu. Please help me and give me some advice what to do and how to do it. Thanx

who do you think is the best poker player right now? I'd really have to say Daniel Negreanu. His small ball strategy is amazing, his book is amazing, he's amazing, just everything about him is amazing. No one could ever do what he did in 2003 and 2004 the way he dominated the WPT. Daniel if you read this.... your fckin amazing!

What is smallballing? I saw this series on smallballing on youtube with daniel negreanu and it looked interesting. I tried a few of the basic tactics in a freeroll tournament with mixed results. It seemed to work really early on and in the middle stages, and twice I was able to take a massive pot when I hit a really nice hand, but in the later stages and against players who were paying attention it seemed to not work so well. What do you know about this strategy and when is it applicable and unapplicable? Where can I find more info on it?
