For these cards, it says what your chances are of winning this game. Then you can select the 4th and 5th card, while the percentages adjust. In Poker what is the correct procedure if the dealer accidentally shows the turn as the river is dealt? I played in a texas holdem tournement last night and the dealer accidently showed the turn as they deal the river. We werent sure how to proceed, but in the end we just left the turn card out and played on. Turned out that the turn gave the guy a set of 8's and busted my two pair I had on the flop - obviously this hand could have turned out alot differently if played correct. What happened to poker DVDs? I have a bunch of poker shows on DVD. WPT Seasons 1, 2, 3 and ESPN 2003 and 2004 and a couple of others. Seeing the professionals play is very educational. Why has WPT and ESPN stopped releasing new seasons on DVD? I guess the most likely explanation they are not made anymore is because they did not generate revenue. But it is still pure speculation. Has anyone seen anything official from the Travel Channel or ESPN about this? I thought there might have been a legal issue.

How do I get images to show from a program file of a poker site.? My poker site has a profile where you can put a picture on. In C files program files, you can bring up teh site and click on images and all images that are currently on teh poker site will appear. On ne site I use, they do not show. Who shows their hands during a poker showdown? I was playing poker last night and there was some questions about who has to show their hands at the end. It was my understanding that you have to show your hand if you goto the showdown starting from the dealers left and going in the same direction as normal betting would until no one else can beat that hand. For example if there are four people left at showdown (lets say someone in the small blind spot, big blind spot, 6th position, and on dealer button), then the small blind has to show BOTH cards to start. If no one else can beat him then no one has to show their hands, otherwise, if another player can beat him they obviously have to show BOTH of their cards. Is this correct or some other way... Thanks

So now POKER is a new COOL trend, are these the same people who like NASCAR and are fake bikers on weekends? Poker and showing cards? I was playing heads up poker with a friend and I was low stack and I was dealt pocket 2's. The flop came 2 K Q. I went all in (about 30 chips, he had 90). He immediately slammed his cards on the table face up and they were pocket nines and I flipped over my 2's. He stood up to throw something away and I flopped the next two cards and cheered for myself. He said "What?! I FOLDED! I DIDN'T SAY CALL" There have been numerous times where both he and I have slammed out cards down the same way he did when we had the nuts. I took it as a form of calling and an argument insued. Who can honestly stay awake til 3 when they show the World Series of Poker to keep you awake? My plan for tonight was to stay awake all night to watch youzhny and tsonga sharapova and henin I took a nap earlier in the day just to do this. has television ruined final table blind/ante structures of poker tournaments? now that poker is a mainstay on tv, the shows(starting with the wpt and now the wsop has joined in) have begun to have some say in how the event is structured...the results are huge blinds and total lotteries at the ends of tournaments, which are good for the general viewer who enjoys an all-in fest for millions of dollars because of the excitement, but not for anyone who knows poker...so do you share my opinion that tv people have destroyed the integrity of major final tables, and what is the best way to ensure that tv shows display more "real" poker, without costing the networks money by losing viewers? good point about the horse tournament switching at the end, but that final table was by far the best NLH final table structure i have seen in a long time, so it wasn't that bad

Question about online poker...? Ok, so I haven't ever used any programs like Texas Calculatem before, and I've played online poker for like 2-3 years now, and played offline poker for about 4-5 years. Anyway, is Texas Calculatem a no no, so to say, for online poker rooms? My friend showed it to me, and looked pretty cool. Haven't used it in any real money rooms, as it is a big advantage, and I don't know if it is allowed. Tried it in play money though, and I do like it for the fact it calculates percentages. Like the percentage your hand will win over another players, or the percentage of you getting a pair, or straight, etc. I really could careless for it's opinions it gives you, on what hands to call, fold, or raise. It just sucks in that department, to say the least. Of course you have to set it to your likings first, but I have only used it 3-4 times. But anyway, my question is, are Texas Calculatem, and programs alike legal for online poker?
